The Karnataka ICSE Schools Association was established in the year 2009.The objective was to provide a platform to like-minded CISCE  Schools in Karnataka to  collaborate and form an  Association and  to discuss issues pertaining to schools affiliated to CISCE. This Association in turn would provide an ideal platform to brace and empower school heads, help upskill the teaching faculty and design a yearly common calendar. Furthermore, it would enable the schools to organize and execute various competitions for the students of the member schools.
Today in 2022 ;KISA has evolved from strength to strength right from  the time of inception and today probably is the largest state in the country which can boast of over 300 members from CISCE Affiliated schools in Karnataka.
 
As schools we face challenges in our day-to-day administration, or academics or the overall general functioning of the school; KISA assures support to all member school it believes in functioning as an effective and efficient association, with clear governance, strong communication links to and from members and to primarily keep the member schools updated on the developments, trends and implications of day-to-day developments in the field of education globally.
